What do we mean by non-invasive? Well, we typically want grasses to spread out into a lush green oasis. Their ability to spread is usually worth the extra effort to maintain them. But not always. In order to maintain the precise tidiness you need for your garden, you need grass that won’t grow over its boundaries, cover walkways, or spread into flowerbeds.

Our Sir Walter DNA Certified and Sir Grange Zoysia’s greatest qualities is its slow growth rate: they will stay where you want them, making it an excellent companion grass for more sensitive flora. That quality also makes it a great choice for rentals and holiday home lawns that may not receive much care throughout the year.

The qualities that make these grasses non-invasive also make them somewhat delicate. Sir Walter DNA Certified will handle moderate traffic and Sir Grange is not the turf for pets and play. But Sir Grange is the right choice if you want to design a lawn or garden that’ll turn heads and drop jaws.
