Advice and solutions
What is the best type of grass for full sun? Our four favourites:
TifTuf Bermuda is highly drought tolerant, making it a practically evergreen grass even in full sun. Sir Walter Buffalo makes a plush carpet for backyard play. Eureka Premium VG Kikuyu is as beautiful as it is strong.

Establish your lawn in full sun with our QWELTS slabs
QWELTS is the acronym we use to describe how we harvest our grass turf. Since you’re after full-sun grass, the most relevant descriptors are ‘quick establishing’, ‘water-saving’ and ‘thick-cut’.
While we always recommend our clients install turf in spring before the heat of the summer sun, your QWELTS slabs will still manage to root deeply and establish well, thanks to the thickness of our slabs. That thickness also aids in moisture retention, preventing your lawn from drying out too quickly.
