We’ve been growing turf since 1985, and we’ve laid that grass at Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 stadiums, as well as local council, school and university ovals. Our expertise is specific, field-tested and uniquely our own. Beyond just turf, that’s the value we bring as your supplier and consultant.
Natural grass is more comfortable to run, jump, land, tackle and fall on, making it the preferred choice for players. Artificial turf is more durable and consistent in inclement weather — but not necessarily for long. Australia’s professional sports fields are built on sand, which improves drainage and provides long-term protection for the entire field, especially during the rainy season.
All our turf options are natural grass, which is more environmentally friendly, comfortable, and cost-effective than synthetic grass.

Steve has 38 years of experience working in turf production and project management as well as Golf Course maintenance, major stadium surface construction, racetrack construction and turf farm development. Steve is trade certified and has a Associate Diploma of Applied Science - Turf Management.
Steve will help you through all stages of the project to make sure you are satisfied.

With almost 40 years’ experience in the turf industry, Lilydale Instant Lawn has gone from strength to strength with Garry at the helm as Managing Director.
As dual founder of the business Garry has taken Lilydale Instant Lawn from humble beginnings on a small rural property, to where it is now one of Victoria’s leading turf suppliers.
Consisting of over 50 employees with in excess of 600 acres of turf farms, including the Yarra Glen Head office, two Pakenham farms and a large scale sand based farm in Bairnsdale.
Garry’s innovation within the turf industry includes being one of the first producers of Tall Fescue, introducing Sir Walter Buffalo to the Victorian market, and acting as an integral part in the development of Tiftuf Bermuda in Australia.
