Our custom harvesting services

Turfing a polo field isn’t a small task by any stretch of the imagination. Considering the amount of turf needed and the associated costs, there’s no room for mistakes. We don’t make any.

We can discuss different turf harvesting options to keep your polo pitch project efficient and economical. We can cut in a multitude of harvest formats including slabs, rolls, maxi rolls and sprigs. Or we can supply washed turf and sprigs ready for line planting, so you can watch your beautiful new polo field grow before your very eyes.

As for installation, we’ll make that a breeze, too. Our delivery team will bring a forklift to move your slabs or rolls into the final place. We can also recommend and liaise with a trusted, qualified contractor to conduct the line planting at your location.

If you’re building a polo pitch on your private property, then the easier it is to maintain, the better. The grass species we provide are designed to be drought tolerant, not only so that they can survive our hot summer weeks but also so that they have reduced irrigation needs all year round. But what about our famous Melbourne rain?

By establishing our turf in a sand medium, we dramatically improve its drainage qualities. You can download our reports for perusal at your leisure; they’ll tell you that our grass turf excels at dispersing water.
